If the two of you collectively see a private GP more than six times a year — which is typical for two adults — the Couple Membership pays for itself. Based on Niva's published fees, a year of equivalent care (two annual health checks with comprehensive bloods + 16 GP visits) is from £1,880 versus £1,308 on the membership. Yes. The 16 appointments are a shared annual allowance for the couple — use them however the two of you need. One of you might use 10 and the other 6, or you might split them evenly. Whatever works for you.
No. The Couple Plan covers any two adults — partners, spouses, parent and adult child, siblings sharing care, close friends. There's no requirement to be married or to live at the same address.
The Couple Plan covers two adults only. If you have children to include, our Family Membership (£149/month) covers up to 5 family members — 2 adults plus 3 children — with 25 shared appointments per year. Or you can add a separate Child Membership (£39/month per child) alongside the Couple Plan.
Memberships run for an initial 12-month period, billed monthly at £109 (so £1,308 over the year for both of you). That guarantees priority access to a private GP for a full year. After the 12 months, you can cancel any time. If you need to discuss changing your circumstances within the initial 12-month period, please get in touch with us — we'll always try to help.
Yes. We hold same-day slots for members and offer face-to-face, video and telephone consultations Monday to Saturday, including evenings (until 7pm on most weekdays). If a slot isn't available for either of you, you'll be offered the next earliest time, usually within 24 hours.
You'll get an automatic 10% discount on any additional GP appointments and on in-clinic investigations (blood, urine and stool tests). Free repeat prescriptions, sick notes and specialist referrals continue throughout your 12-month membership for both of you regardless.

Couple Members get free specialist referrals included. We can refer you to trusted private specialists, send routine NHS referrals back via your NHS GP, or refer urgent suspected cancer cases directly to your local hospital — whichever route is right for you. You'll also receive 10% off any additional in-clinic investigations (blood, urine and stool tests).
